Doha malls host daily shows, retail activations and character appearances
DUBAI – Visit Qatar has launched its annual summer campaign, ‘Hala Summer 2026’, presenting a five-month programme of events and entertainment experiences across the country.
Running from May to the end of September 2026, the initiative aims to reinforce Qatar’s positioning as a leading summer destination.
Visitors can expect family attractions, concerts, shopping activations and resort leisure options designed for residents and international tourists.
Toy Festival
Key highlights include the Qatar Toy Festival, scheduled from July 1 to July 31 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC). Spanning over 22,000 sqm across four halls, it will be the largest edition to date, featuring global brands, performances and interactive activations in collaboration with Spacetoon Group.

The entertainment calendar also features immersive attractions such as Minecraft World, Colorverse, Fontana Circus and Sneaker Con. Music programming includes a headline performance by John Legend on September 10.
Mall experiences
Across shopping destinations including Doha Festival City, Mall of Qatar, Villaggio, Place Vendôme, Landmark, Doha Mall, Al Hazm, Tawar Mall, Hyatt Plaza and City Center, visitors will experience live entertainment, character appearances and seasonal activations throughout the summer months. The programme combines retail promotions with family-focused experiences designed to boost indoor leisure during the peak summer season.
Resort leisure
Hotels and resorts across Qatar will introduce curated summer packages, featuring seasonal dining menus, stay deals and family-friendly activities.
Visitors can explore Meryal Waterpark on Qetaifan Island, alongside indoor theme parks, beach clubs and adventure experiences including ziplining along coastal areas. The offering includes seasonal promotions and booking packages for residents and international travellers, ensuring a varied mix of leisure, dining and entertainment options throughout the five-month campaign.
